Kolan, the largest place on Pag that is not by the sea, at the foot of the peaks Gradac and Nebeska that protect it from a strong storm.
It is also located halfway between the two largest settlements of Pag and Novalja and, also, on the main highway D106 that goes north to Zigljan where it connects Pag with the mainland by ferry, and south to the Pag bridge that brought it closer to Dalmatia.
The locals of Kolana are less engaged in tourism, and more in sheep breeding and viticulture, so it has become a gastronomic center known as the cradle of Pag cheese and lamb.
In the Kolan cheeses and the world-famous and award-winning Gligora, you can taste and buy this Pag delicacy.

The terrain is along the main road.
Also, a second road is planned to be built in its hinterland so that the location is excellently connected to the rest of the island.
