In Sutomišćica is the famous Baroque summer residence of the Zadar Lantana family, from 1686. The summer residence with a spacious park and chapel is an example of a Baroque palace of the Venetian type. It was the site of the handover of duties of the Italian governors for Dalmatia and Albania. Parish church dedicated to St. Euphemia is mentioned in 1345.; the present Baroque church was built in 1679. On the altar of St. Jerome is a superb Baroque painting by an unknown Venetian master.
