The village of Breze is located in a mountainous area at approximately 800 meters above sea level along the Novi Vinodolski - Jezerane - Jasenak road. Breze is known for its timber industry, and in recent years has become an extremely attractive place to vacation. Nature and fresh air, a break from the crowds and summer heat, and yet the proximity of the sea and the sun, are a winning combination for an escape from everyday life and a vacation for every modern person. They are also characterized by the proximity of numerous picnic areas, viewpoints, bicycle trails, and the possibility of hunting.
A series of films about Winnetou were filmed in this area, and the town itself is home to the Indian Winnetou village.
