House on Velebit
We got for sale an interesting house in the wild of Velebit with a beautiful view of the sea.
It is located on the Veliki Alan Pass, at an altitude of 1340 meters, in the Northern Velebit National Park.
It is located in an isolated area, far from inhabited places, which means that new construction or reconstruction is not allowed, which ensures peace in the future.
The house is surrounded by forest, and on the south side there is a view of the Velebit pastures Dujkovača and Buljma, while from the south-west you can enjoy the view of the sea and the islands of Cres and Lošinj.
The house is built of hollow brick 20 cm thick, with a Styrofoam lining 5 cm thick, and is covered with stone 15-20 cm thick on the outside.
The roof is made of wooden shingles.
The house consists of ground floor, attic and basement, with a total area of 30 m2.
On the ground floor there is an open space with kitchen, dining room and living room, and a bathroom with toilet.
The attic is a unique sleeping area with four beds.
The basement is not decorated, but is suitable for the installation of a sauna and/or jacuzzi.
Since the house is located in the National Park, there is no possibility of connecting to the gas, water or electricity network.
However, the house is completely independent because in the basement there is a hydropak connected to the gustyrn with drinking water of 12 m3.
On the roof are solar panels that provide electricity of 220 V.
The heating in the house is on wood, in the bilge stove, while the gas from the gas bottle is used to heat the water in the gas boiler.
On the garden there is a summer kitchen with a stone fireplace (a barbecue), a wood oven, a sink and a table and benches for dining.
Next to the house there is also a woodshed, a gustirna and a trap for storing batteries for electricity from solar panels.
The house can be reached by car, and the house itself is located on the hiking transversal Via Dinarica.
From the house leads a series of beautiful hiking tours leading to the peaks of Velebit.
The first beaches on the sea, in Jablanc and Stinica, are only 15 km away.
Fjord Zavratnica, a protected area, is 20 km away, while the source of the Gacka River is about 60 km away.
Plitvice Lakes National Park and Paklenica National Park are 1.5 hours away by car.
