On a valuable estate of about 3000 m2, the summer mansion covers 800 m2 and was built in 1563. At the end of the 16th century, the estate was fully realized, and consists of: the primary residence, two defensive towers on three levels once intended for defense against pirates, carefully landscaped front and back gardens with a geometrically arranged avenue of trees, a chapel dedicated to St. Thomas, unusual cottages, a watermill, cisterns located within the castle and towers, storerooms, a pavilion set on a spacious terrace, a bridge and an imposing fortified entrance.
In 2023, the owners reconstructed the mansion, preserving its historical features, which they ideally combined with modern details, making the space more pleasant to stay in. The styles complement each other and extend throughout all rooms. A total of five bedrooms are modernly furnished, providing complete comfort with an emphasis on elegance and timeless details.
During the 2000s, it served as a museum, and in 2003, the Croatian National Tourist Board awarded it the "Blue Flower" award, praising it as the most unique tourist attraction along the Adriatic coast.
