The preserved landscape has encouraged several households to start rural tourism, and the traditional attachment to wine production has developed into an already traditional annual wine exhibition of the central Istrian wine region. The beauty and uniqueness of the cultural‑historical heritage monuments in the preserved landscape are the greatest value of Gračišće, which every day attracts more and more curious visitors, not only at the Central Istria Wine Tasting, Vidova or the Festival of accordion players “Zasopimo na organić,” but increasingly enthusiasts return here, who in the ancient town draw nourishment from the tranquility that emanates from streets bordered by historic buildings, leading together towards the high 18th‑century bell tower and the parish church from the same period. There, everyone is rewarded with a great view: from the lawn next to the church, like from a festive balcony, opens a wide, truly the most beautiful view of the expansive landscape of hilly Istria that merges on the horizon with the proud peaks of Učka.
