Brod Moravice is a small settlement and the center of a municipality in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
It is situated in the western part of Gorski Kotar, at 560 m above sea level.
It is located on the old road from Zagreb to Rijeka from which it is 120 and 70 kilometers away.
It is the oldest municipality in Gorski Kotar with only 1000 inhabitants, which makes it the least populated.
This area is extremely picturesque, surrounded by dense forests with beautiful viewpoints and mountain trails along the canyon of the Kupa River, which is the natural border to Slovenia.
